Mission/Vision Statement:
We want to help empower each other through support in educating ourselves and our community about people-first language. We also want to become effective advocates for ourselves and the need for better service. Goals: to be actively involved in seeing that our rights as citizens are not violated and to petition our local stae aand federal officials abaout issues that will affect us.

Typical Activities:
2nd Thursday of month--advocacy meeting (different speakers from community, etc)
3rd Thursday of month--social meeting (listen to music, have fun, etc.)
