Typical Activities:
YES! has three community meetings that meet once a month. YES! visits 7 Jefferson County Public Schools per month, during the school year. Our meetings are designed to help participants increase their knowledge and develop their skills to become more effective self-advocates. Past topics include: communication skills, self - awareness, maintaining good health, money management, and employment.
We have several events throughout the year, including a talent show, a rally for disability rights, and one community service event.
