Mission/Vision Statement:
The mission of SAIL (Self Advocates for Independent Living) of Coastal Carolina is to educate, empower, and encourage individuals with disabilities to reach the highest level of independence available to them. SAIL of Coastal Carolina is committed to supporting individuals with disabilities and their families in the areas of self advocacy, self determination, and community awareness. We provide a voice for individuals who are living with disabilities and their families in order to instill confidence in their own unique abilities, empowering each person to achieve goals and advocate for their own needs.
The vision of SAIL (Self Advocates for Independent Living) of Coastal Carolina is to develop a community in which individuals with disabilities have reached a significant level of independence and are living lives in which they and their families are confident in their unique abilities to achieve goals they have set and strong advocates for their own needs.
