Typical Activities:
Monthly meetings concerning topics of interest for self-advocates including building interpersonal relationships, resources that are available in the community, increasing access to community resources, understanding cultural diversity, and strengthening self-advocacy skills. We also have leadership retreats and do service projects in the community such as canned food drives, adopting families for Christmas, donating treat bags to children in foster care services, etc.
